There are many things I can say about the high quality of service I provide to my home seller and home buyer clients, but probably none would be as credible as testimonials from some of my clients themselves. Please read the following testimonials. I hope they lend perspective as to my experience and integrity, as well as make it clear how much I enjoy helping people with their real estate needs:

 

"Whenever people come to visit my husband and me in Vermont they invariably ask, "How did you find this gorgeous home?" I tell them the true story of how we met Chris Hurd.
 
After a number of years spent living in St. Augustine, Florida my husband and I decided we wanted to move back to New England. I put feelers out on the Internet and heard back from three Realtors. Two sent form letters, but one, Chris Hurd, wrote a wonderful note in which he raved about the the virtues of Vermont, the Champlain Valley and Burlington. I could sense his love for this unique corner of the world. Being and English teacher, I was also impressed by the style and structure of his letter. He was obviously really smart, possessed a vast knowledge of Vermont and was extremely personable, witty and articulate.
 
Chris followed up his letter with a phone call and we spoke for close to an hour. Turns out he had been an English teacher at one time and we found we had lots of other things in common. I learned a lot about Vermont on the phone that day and a lot about Chris' integrity and values.
 
He sent a photo of a house that was For Sale and asked for a candid response. I told him what I thought and delineated my "wish list" in a lengthy email. Chris listened and heard me. The very next listing he sent was the house that we wound up falling in love with from afar and which we have called home now for seven years. It had everything we were looking for; I'm not kidding.
 
As out-of-state buyers, we had to trust Chris to handle so many details. He set up our viewing and when we arrived in Vermont he gave us a tour of the area. He also wisely showed us some other houses so we could be certain that our first choice was the right one. Once we returned to Florida, he deftly handled everything else. We relaxed, sold our house, packed up and moved. When we arrived all was in order. The closing went smoothly and we began our lives in Vermont having had a very positive real estate experience.
 
I should mention that my husband was a Realtor at one time with a Vermont license. He was very impressed with Chris and all the hard work he put into making our dream come true. If and when we sell our old farmhouse, we will call Chris. And whenever I'm asked to recommend a Realtor I always give the name of my trusted friend: Chris Hurd."
